Homes sell for two reasons "Price and Exposure".  Getting your home exposed is the key to a quick sale.  If homebuyers don't know you home is for sale, then it's virtually impossible to sell.  If you have the extra money and are thinking about serious exposure, you should look into home magazine ads.  Homes and Land is a great magazine with full color photos.  Homebuyers across the Houston Metro Area pick these magazines up continuously in many different locations.  The cost ranges between $250 - $500 for each month.

Your probably thinking...whoa, that's a lot of money. You are correct.  It's not cheap to advertise, but remember when you have followed the articles "exterior, interior and quick tips", your home will be pristine and you'll generate a quick offer.  You'll be glad you advertised your home properly for the most exposure.  After all, if you followed the aforementioned articles, you have one of the nicest homes in your area.

Now, let me explain just one avenue of many that we use to help sell your home quickly, if you decide to take the Realtor route.  First, we advertise full-page ads in Homes and Land continuously throughout the year.  No it's not cheap, but we find that exposure is key.  All of our listings make it into this magazine throughout their listing term.  We don't charge our clients for this service.  After all, we don't make a dime until we sell your home.  You can see the motivation here.

Each home listing receives a special extension number that buyers call in on and press the extension of the home they are interested in.  It's a 24 hr. recording of all the great features, amenities and overall benefits of your home.  Homebuyers are always calling because they know it's a recording and won't be pressured by an agent answering the call.  We found this to be an exceptional tool.  The homebuyers calling in also have the option to press #1 and speak to an agent for further details or to schedule a showing of your home.
